Park Eun Bin Portrays An Extraordinary Lawyer Who Steps Into Society With A Unique View In New Drama
Upcoming drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” has shared new stills of Park Eun Bin in character!
The drama will tell the story of Woo Young Woo (played by Park Eun Bin), a young lawyer with Asperger’s syndrome who joins a major law firm. Due to her high IQ of 164, impressive memory, and creative thought process, the brilliant Woo Young Woo graduates at the top of her class from the prestigious Seoul National University for both college and law school – but she still finds herself struggling when it comes to social interactions.
The newly released stills capture Woo Young Woo heading to work for the first time. The subway is teeming with people, but Woo Young Woo, who is wearing large headphones, gets lost in her own world with her eyes closed. Judging from her tense shoulders, she seems to be excited and fearful about her first day of work.
The place that Woo Young Woo is heading to is Hanbada, a law firm. In one photo, Woo Young Hoo is tightly holding onto her bag strap, and she seems lost, hinting that it won’t be easy for her to survive there. However, another photo depicts her looking completely lively, and her confused expression is nowhere to be seen. As someone who never forgets what she sees, she shares important data with eyes that twinkle sharply.
Woo Young Woo is also spotted in court, and her steady gaze and determined expression increases anticipation for her performance as a lawyer with a unique perspective. Drama fans are eager to learn more about her first mission at Hanbada and how she will grow as she breaks away from the framework set by the world and overcomes her limitations in her own way.
Park Eun Bin commented, “When I first read the script, rather than thinking, ‘What would it be like if I played that role?’ I thought the project itself was interesting. I thought it was a really great drama.”
Concerning her character, she remarked, “Woo Young Woo isn’t someone you want to help but a pure-hearted person you want to befriend.”
The actress continued, “‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’ is a project that allowed me to face the fear of taking challenges. Just as Woo Young Woo steps into the world and excitedly burns her passion, I am also learning courage and bravery from her.”
“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” will premiere jointly on ENA and Netflix on June 29 at 9 p.m. KST.
