FNC To Launch Korean-Japanese Audition Show To Create New Idol Band
FNC Entertainment is launching a project to form a brand-new idol band!
On June 14, FNC Entertainment announced its plans for a Korean-Japanese audition show entitled “The Idol Band: Boy’s Battle.” The show will be jointly produced by Japanese public broadcast network TBS, FNC, and SBS Medianet, and it will air on both SBS MTV and SBS FiL in Korea and on TBS in Japan.
“The Idol Band: Boy’s Battle” will be an audition program searching for members to create a new idol band that has both looks and musical talent. “The Idol Band” producers will personally choose members to form different teams during the show, and the journey will feature both fierce competition and heartwarming friendship.
FNC Entertainment founder remarked, “‘The Idol Band’ will be a show that further globalizes K-pop and the K-band genre.”
“The Idol Band: Boy’s Battle” will begin recruiting participants in June.
