Big Hit Music Comments On BTS's Solo Careers + J-Hope To Be First Member To Start Solo Activities
BTS will be starting a new chapter in their careers!
On June 14, the group wrapped up their 2022 BTS Festa—their yearly celebration of the anniversary of their debut—by releasing a video in which they shared a meal, opened up about their creative concerns, and announced their hiatus from group activities in order to focus on their solo careers.
A representative of Big Hit Music commented, “BTS will start a new chapter in which they will simultaneously carry out team activities and individual activities. This will be a time for each of the members to grow with their diverse activities, and we anticipate that this will foster BTS into a long-running team. The label will actively support this.”
BTS will begin the second chapter of their careers by releasing solo albums and collaborations with various artists. The members’ individual activities will be released in order with the first member being J-Hope.
The group will also resume their variety program “Run! BTS.” Before their hiatus from group activities, BTS will perform their new title track “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” from their new anthology album “Proof” on music shows starting this week.
