TXT Climbs Back Up Billboard 200 + Becomes 2nd Male K-Pop Artist Ever To Chart An Album In Top 60 For 5 Weeks
Over a month after its release, TXT’s “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” has climbed back up into the top 45 of the Billboard 200!
In its fifth consecutive week on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart (which ranks the most popular albums in the United States), TXT’s latest mini album rose 16 spots to No. 43—making “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” the first K-pop album of 2022 to spend five weeks in the top 60.
TXT has now become the second male K-pop artist in history—and only the third overall—ever to chart an album in the top 60 of the Billboard 200 for five weeks, following BTS and BLACKPINK.
“minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” also continued to rank high on several other Billboard charts this week. In addition to staying strong at No. 3 on the World Albums chart, the mini album swept the No. 6 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.
Finally, TXT ranked No. 38 on Billboard’s Artist 100.
Congratulations to TXT!
