Update: "My Teen Girl" Contestant Kim Yoo Yeon To Debut As Member Of New Girl Group tripleS
Updated July 15 KST:
Kim Yoo Yeon from “My Teen Girl” is making her debut with tripleS!
On July 15, tripleS unveiled a debut teaser for Kim Yoo Yeon, a popular contestant on MBC’s girl group audition program “My Teen Girl.” Despite all the love she received, Kim Yoo Yeon finished in No. 8 and was ultimately unable to join the final lineup of seven-member group CLASSy.
As it’s also well-known among fans that Kim Yoo Yeon is a student in the department of science education at the prestigious Ewha Womans University, it seemed unlikely that she would continue training to be an idol. However, Kim Yoo Yeon has thankfully returned to the entertainment industry to be a member of tripleS!
In the video, Kim Yoo Yeon comments, “It’s fascinating. Seeing fans welcoming me back and their reactions [made me think], ‘I’m happy about my decision [to debut].’ I wanted to see myself on stage again so I made up my mind to become an idol.”
