Watch: HYBE Drops 1st Teasers For New Girl Group Created By Min Hee Jin

HYBE’s new girl group created by Min Hee Jin is finally gearing up for their long-awaited debut!

Last year, HYBE established a brand-new sub-label named ADOR, to be headed by its Chief Brand Officer (CBO) Min Hee Jin. Before joining HYBE in 2019, Min Hee Jin was famous for being a creative director and board member at SM Entertainment, where she worked for 17 years.

HYBE also revealed last year that ADOR would be debuting a new girl group, consisting primarily of members recruited during their 2019 “Plus Global Audition,” sometime in 2022.

On July 1, HYBE officially announced that ADOR’s brand-new girl group—which has often been dubbed “the Min Hee Jin girl group”—will be releasing its first content later this month.

ADOR also released multiple teaser videos for the upcoming girl group, whose new content is due out on July 22.

Last November, ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin commented, “I’m fully prepared to give rise to another change in the music industry through the launch of this new label. Without any fear of taking on new challenges, we will present new artistic IP [intellectual property] and content that will showcase ADOR’s unique philosophy.”

Min Hee Jin also revealed on the tvN variety show “You Quiz on the Block” that the upcoming girl group’s debut song had already been decided over two years ago.
