Lovelyz's Yein And Ciipher's Tan To Star In New Drama About Aspiring Actors
Get ready for a new drama starring Lovelyz’s Yein and Ciipher’s Tan!
On July 2, Ciipher’s agency Rain Company confirmed that Tan would be starring opposite Yein in the upcoming web drama “Nara Who Wants to Become an Insider” (literal translation).
The agency stated, “Ciipher member Tan has been cast in the web drama ‘Nara Who Wants to Become an Insider’ in the role of Jang Doha, and he will be acting passionately.”
“Nara Who Wants to Become an Insider” will tell the story of high school students who dream of becoming actors as they prepare for college admissions as film and theatre majors. Yein will star as the titular Lee Nara, a student in her second year of high school who has a fierce competitive streak about everything except studying. Tan will be playing male lead Jang Doha, a cautious and considerate student whose personality is very different from Lee Nara’s.
The upcoming drama, which is scheduled to premiere sometime in the second half of 2022, will begin filming in July.
