Jung Hae In In Talks To Star In Sequel For Hit Film "Veteran"
Jung Hae In may be starring in the upcoming film “Veteran 2”!
On July 5, JTBC News reported that Jung Hae In will be starring in the sequel to the hit film “Veteran.” According to an industry representative, the script for “Veteran 2” has yet to be finished, and casting is simultaneously being carried out with adjustments to the script. “Veteran 2” will also have a different format from the original film.
In response to the report, a representative from FNC Entertainment shared, “Jung Hae In has received an offer to star in the film ‘Veteran 2,’ and he is currently reviewing the offer.”
Helmed by director Ryu Seung Wan of “The Battleship Island,” “Escape from Mogadishu,” and more, “Veteran” premiered back in 2015 and garnered over 13.41 million moviegoers. “Veteran” is a crime action film that follows the story of a veteran investigation team chasing after an arrogant third generation chaebol. The film starred Hwang Jung Min, Yoo Ah In, Yoo Hae Jin, Oh Dal Soo, and more. Director Ryu Seung Wan will also be producing the sequel and working together with the film production company Waeyoonaegang, which produced Jung Hae In’s film “Start-Up.”
If he accepts the role, Jung Hae In will most likely be making a powerful and shocking transformation that follows Yoo Ah In’s role as the villain. Jung Hae In previously impressed in “Prison Playbook,” “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food,” “One Spring Night,” and more. He is also confirmed to reprise his role in “D.P. 2.”
