Upcoming sci-fi fantasy film “Alienoid” has dropped its action-packed main trailer!

“Alienoid” is a two-part film about the happenings that occur when a mysterious time portal opens and connects Taoists from the Goryeo Dynasty searching for a legendary sword with people in 2022 chasing down an alien prisoner that’s been imprisoned in a human’s body.

The film is directed by Choi Dong Hoon and boasts a star-studded cast, including Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, So Ji Sub, Honey Lee, Yum Jung Ah, Jo Woo Jin, Kim Eui Sung, Shin Jung Geun, and Lee Si Hoon.

The new 90-second trailer starts with a voiceover by Kim Tae Ri as she explains, “For a long time, aliens have locked up their prisoners in various time periods.” After, Guard (played by Kim Woo Bin) catches an alien prisoner in a human body as he comments, “Somewhere small and safe. The human brain.”

Next, an energy knife is introduced, which can wake up imprisoned aliens and allow time travel. Guard takes this knife to travel back in time, opening up a mysterious time portal. Back in year 1391, we are introduced to those in search of a legendary sword, including Taoist Moo Reuk (Ryu Jun Yeol), Lee Ahn (Kim Tae Ri), a woman who shoots thunder, and Samgak Mountain gods Heuk Seol and Chung Woon (Yum Jung Ah and Jo Woo Jin).

In addition to the chaos of the time portal, an alien prisoner from 2022 is able to escape, becoming a potential threat to everyone in the area.
