“Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” has shared a look at the first meeting between Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi!

Based off a novel of the same name, “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” depicts the story of Yoo Se Poong (Kim Min Jae), a well-known internal medicine doctor who gets expelled from the royal court after being caught up in a conspiracy. Afterwards, he meets Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi) and Gye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung) in the strange and beautiful Gyesu village and works to become a true doctor who heals the heart.

The warm teaser starts with Seo Eun Woo seeing Yoo Se Poong for the first time. She softly asks, You’re from the royal infirmary, right? Since you’re someone who will save a lot of people, you must stay alive!” While her tone seems happy and bright, viewers are left to wonder what kind of circumstances Seo Eun Woo has found Yoo Se Poong in to feel compelled to encourage him to live.

As he gets used to his new surroundings, Yoo Se Poong also crosses paths with the eccentric Gye Ji Han and the other personalities of Gyesu village. However, given Yoo Se Poong’s popularity within the royal palace, questions arise about how he ended up in the village. When he sets off to heal the hearts of those who’ve been hurt, Yoo Se Poong grows both as a person and in his unique relationship with Seo Eun Woo.
