BLACKPINK's Lisa's "MONEY" Becomes Fastest Song By K-Pop Soloist To Hit 500 Million Streams On Spotify

Once again, BLACKPINK’s Lisa has made Spotify history!

On July 19, YG Entertainment officially announced that Lisa’s hit solo B-side “MONEY” had surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify over the weekend, making it the fastest song by a K-pop soloist ever to reach the milestone.

“MONEY” is also now the fastest song by any female K-pop act to hit the 500 million mark, breaking the previous record set by BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” last year. (“How You Like That” took less than a year and three months to surpass 500 million streams, while “MONEY” achieved the feat in just over 10 months.)

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently gearing up to make their first group comeback in nearly two years this August.
