TXT Becomes 2nd K-Pop Artist In History To Chart Multiple Albums For 9 Consecutive Weeks On Billboard 200
TXT has just achieved an impressive feat on the Billboard 200!
After debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 back in May, TXT’s latest mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” has now become the first K-pop album released in 2022 to spend nine weeks on the chart. For the week ending on July 23, the mini album climbed back up to No. 128—making it TXT’s second album after “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” to chart for nine consecutive weeks.
With this new achievement, TXT has become only the second K-pop artist in history after BTS to have more than one album spend nine consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200.
Over two months after its release, “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” also continued to rank high on multiple other Billboard charts. The mini album came in at No. 5 on the World Albums chart, No. 6 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 7 on the Top Album Sales chart this week.
Finally, TXT stayed strong at No. 62 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking their 28th overall week on the chart.
Congratulations to TXT!
