SEVENTEEN Becomes 7-Time Million Sellers With First K-pop Repackage Album To Surpass 1 Million Sales In The First Week
SEVENTEEN has set yet another impressive record!
According to Hanteo Chart, SEVENTEEN’s fourth repackaged album “SECTOR 17” surpassed a total of 1,032,238 million copies sold in the first three days, landing the group the title of “seven-time million sellers.”
SEVENTEEN sold 935,138 copies of “SECTOR 17” only on the first day of its release, and they have achieved the title of “million sellers” three days within the album’s release. In addition to this being their seventh consecutive album to surpass over 1 million sales, this is the first K-pop repackaged album to sell over 1 million copies in the first week.
Furthermore, their title track “_WORLD” topped various domestic music charts and iTunes Top Songs charts in 28 regions, while their B-sides “Circles,” “Fallin’ Flower (Korean Ver.),” and “CHEERS” also ranked high on various music charts all over the globe.
SEVENTEEN recently returned with “SECTOR 17” along with the music video for “_WORLD” on July 18 at 6 p.m. KST. The group will appear on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on July 21 to perform “CHEERS” and “_WORLD.”
