aespa's "Girls" Takes No. 1; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2022, July Week 4
A new song is at the top of our chart this week!
aespa’s “Girls” took our chart by storm, debuting at No. 1 with a near perfect score. This is aespa’s second chart-topping hit in 2022 after spending several weeks at No. 1 with “Dreams Come True” earlier this year. Congratulations to aespa!
“Girls” is the title track from aespa’s second mini album of the same name. It is a dance track with powerful wobble bass and rough synth sounds, and the lyrics express aespa and ae-aespa’s continuation of their journey together with naevis.
Nayeon’s “POP!” is down one spot to No. 2 this week after previously topping the chart for two weeks. Rounding out the top three and moving up two spots to No. 3 is WINNER’s “I LOVE U.”
