WJSN’s Dawon has tested positive for COVID-19.

On July 29, Starship Entertainment posted the following statement:

Hello, this is Startship Entertainment.

We are informing you that WJSN member Dawon was diagnosed with COVID-19 today (July 29).

Dawon tested positive on the rapid antigen test that she underwent as a precautionary measure in order to participate in her scheduled activities on July 29.

Dawon received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and at present, she does not have any particular symptoms aside from a mild sore throat. She is currently undergoing treatment at home in accordance with the guidelines of government health authorities.

Dawon will halt her scheduled activities and focus on treatment and recovery by complying with the guidelines of the health authorities.

We apologize for causing concern to our fans and other officials, and we will do our best to ensure the health and safety of our artists.

WJSN has temporarily halted their comeback promotions due to Exy and Yeoreum testing positive for COVID-19.

On July 24, Starship Entertainment officially announced that Exy and Yeoreum had been diagnosed with COVID-19 and were currently suffering from a mild fever and sore throat.

While all of the other WJSN members have fortunately tested negative for COVID-19, the group cancelled their scheduled activities—including their appearance on SBS’s “Inkigayo” and a fan signing event—as a precautionary measure.

Hello.
This is Starship Entertainment.

Today (July 24), WJSN members Exy and Yeoreum were diagnosed with COVID-19.

Exy and Yeoreum tested positive on the self-test kits that they used as a precautionary measure in order to participate in their scheduled activities on July 24, so they immediately went to the hospital to undergo rapid antigen tests and PCR tests for COVID-19, and their test results came back positive.

Exy and Yeoreum both received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and at present, they do not have any particular symptoms aside from a mild fever and sore throat. They are currently undergoing treatment at home in accordance with the guidelines of government health authorities.

Aside from Exy and Yeoreum, all of the other WJSN members and their staff underwent rapid antigen tests [for COVID-19] and tested negative. However, as a precautionary measure, all of the members will be halting their scheduled activities, including their scheduled appearance on SBS’s “Inkigayo” and their fan signing event.
