Former NU'EST Member Aron To Join Jamie And CRAVITY's Allen As New "After School Club" Host
Former NU’EST member Aron will be joining “After School Club” (“ASC”) as their new MC!
Arirang TV’s “After School Club,” which starting airing on April 17, 2013, has announced Aron as their newest host.
Aron first debuted in 2012 as a member of NU’EST and has spent the past 10 years promoting both in Korea and overseas. Following the group’s disbandment this past February, Aron parted ways with PLEDIS Entertainment and has been active as a solo act. Currently, he is hosting the podcast “KOREAN COWBOYS” with entertainer Joel.
The producers of “After School Club” commented, “In addition to ‘KOREAN COWBOYS’ which Aron is currently appearing on, he has been the main host on various programs in the past such as Arirang Radio’s ‘Music Access’ and ‘Aron’s Circle Room’ on Twitter. We were positive that there would be a synergistic effect once Aron’s stable and comfortable hosting met ‘ASC,’ so we came to work with him.”
They added, “The majority of the guests on ‘ASC’ will be Aron’s juniors. Using his 10 years of experience as a foundation, we look forward to idol senior Aron hosting while drawing out relatable points for his juniors.”
Aron will be joining current hosts Jamie and CRAVITY‘s Allen, on which the producers commented, “As he was the oldest in his group, we believe that Aron will play the role of reliable eldest well as he embraces his two dongsaengs [younger siblings/friends] on ‘ASC’ too. We ask for lots of love and support for ‘ASC’ that is led by Aron, Jamie, and Allen.”
Aron’s first episode as host of “After School Club” will air on July 26 with guests MCND.
