Lee Seung Gi Is A Fun-Loving Landlord In Upcoming Law Romance Drama With Lee Se Young

KBS2’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “The Law Cafe” shared new stills of Lee Seung Gi!

Based on a hit web novel by writer Noh Seung Ah, “The Law Cafe” is a law romance drama about former prosecutor and playboy landlord Kim Jung Ho and the eccentric lawyer and new tenant Kim Yu Ri. Lee Seung Gi will play Kim Jung Ho, while Lee Se Young will be taking on the role of Kim Yu Ri.

The first stills of Lee Seung Gi in the new drama capture his complete transformation into Kim Jung Ho, who can go back and forth from being immature to being perfect. In the photos, Kim Jung Ho wears a bright red tracksuit while participating in a gathering with the tenants of Eunha Building.

Kim Jung Ho shares an endearingly bright smile, appearing genuinely happy to have won items that are daily necessities at the gathering. Another photo captures him enjoying a leisurely pool party in his own way with an inflatable pool, raising anticipation for his character.

On his reason for starring in the drama, Lee Seung Gi remarked, “It was the first time I felt comforted while reading a script.” Regarding his character, the actor explained, “Kim Jung Ho has the same MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) of ENTJ as me. It’s true that I related a lot to Kim Jung Ho’s lines since he says a lot of rational and efficient words.”

Lee Seung Gi also mentioned that Kim Jung Ho is the first ordinary character that he has met in a while. He elaborated, “I acted comfortably like the tracksuit I wore throughout the filming. I’m certain that viewers will be able to feel the warmhearted comfort that I received through the various stories within ‘The Law Cafe.’ I will do my best to act in order to convey even deeper comfort and relatable feelings. Please give it lots of attention.”

The production team shared, “Lee Seung Gi will prove his title of ‘the emperor of rom-coms’ through ‘The Law Cafe,'” praising Lee Seung Gi’s acting on set. They added, “Please excitedly await the premiere of ‘The Law Cafe.'”

“The Law Cafe” will premiere on August 29 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
