SF9’s Rowoon and HKT48’s Yabuki Nako will be hosting the Korean-Japanese audition show “The Idol Band: Boy’s Battle”!
On July 28, SBS Media Net announced, “It has been confirmed that Rowoon and Yabuki Nako will be the MCs for SBS M’s ‘The Idol Band: Boy’s Battle.'”
“The Idol Band: Boy’s Battle” will be an audition program searching for members to create a new idol band that has both looks and musical talent. The producers will personally choose members to form different teams during the show, and the journey will feature both fierce competition and heartwarming friendship.
Rowoon and Yabuki Nako have experience hosting, so they are expected to show stable teamwork. Moreover, since they are both idols, they will lead the show by giving advice and support to the participants.
Rowoon shared, “It’s my first time hosting an audition program, but I will do my best to not be an inconvenience to the participants. I’m also looking forward to meeting people with various skills. Please show lots of interest.” Yabuki Nako commented, “I also participated in an audition program where I learned many things and met my precious colleagues. Since I’m the MC this time, I’ll work hard so that the participants can relate to me.”
“The Idol Band: Boy’s Battle” will receive applications through the program’s official website until Friday, August 26. All boys born from January 1, 1995 to December 31, 2009 living in Korea and Japan can apply.
