Lee Seung Gi And Lee Se Young Transform Into Top High School Students In Upcoming Rom-Com
KBS 2TV has shared an adorable look at the start of Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young’s relationship – all the way back in high school!
Based on a hit web novel, “The Law Cafe” is a romantic comedy about Kim Jung Ho, a genius former prosecutor-turned-libertine landlord, and Kim Yu Ri, the eccentric lawyer that becomes his new tenant. Notably, the drama will mark the reunion of Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young, who starred in the hit drama “Hwayugi” together four years ago.
Even before Kim Jung Ho and Kim Yu Ri meet as landlord and tenant or fellow law school students, the true start of their relationship and one-sided love story is 17 years ago when the two meet as classmates in high school.
Kim Yu Ri has always been at the top of her class, but she’s suddenly knocked down when new student Kim Jung Ho transfers to her school and comfortably lands the No. 1 spot. Kim Yu Ri doesn’t hesitate to ask questions to her new competitor and treats him quite recklessly, but there’s a glimmer in her eye when she looks upon Kim Jung Ho that’s hard to miss.
Although initially flustered, Kim Jung Ho still responds to Kim Yu Ri with a soft smile. Stay tuned to find out what makes Kim Yu Ri develop an interest in Kim Jung Ho and what conclusion their 17-year-long one-sided relationship has.
Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young filmed these cute high school scenes back in May and were met with excited cheers from the drama’s crew for looking so youthful and suiting their uniforms so well – despite being in their late 20s and mid 30s in real life!
The producers shared, “Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young are actors overflowing with sense who evolve the drama’s liveliness with their natural chemistry. Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young perfectly portray college and high school Seung Gi and Se Young. Please look forward to ‘The Law Cafe’ which will become a new hot place for visuals.”
“The Law Cafe” premieres on August 29 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
