TWICE, ENHYPEN, And SEVENTEEN Earn Gold RIAJ Certifications In Japan
The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!
On August 10, the RIAJ announced that TWICE’s latest Japanese album “Celebrate” had received an official gold certification for over 100,000 units shipped in less than a month. (According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units shipped and platinum at 250,000.)
“Celebrate” is TWICE’s 17th album to earn an official RIAJ certification, extending their own record as the K-pop girl group with the highest number of certified albums in Japan.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN’s latest Korean mini album “MANIFESTO : DAY 1” also earned an official gold certification, continuing the group’s perfect streak of having all their Korean albums certified in Japan.
Finally, SEVENTEEN’s new repackaged album “SECTOR 17” similarly received an official gold certification for over 100,000 units shipped in the first month of its release.
Congratulations to TWICE, ENHYPEN, and SEVENTEEN!
