Ryu Seung Ryong Joins ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo In Talks For New Drama By 'Extreme Job' Director

Ryu Seung Ryong may be reuniting with “Extreme Job” director Lee Byung Hun for a new drama!

Earlier this week, it was reported that the veteran actor would be starring in the director’s upcoming comedy “Dak Gang Jeong” (named after a sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken dish). However, Ryu Seung Ryong’s agency Prain Global later clarified in a phone call with Dispatch that while the actor was in talks to appear in the drama, nothing had yet been decided.

“Ryu Seung Ryong has received a casting offer for the drama ‘Dak Gang Jeong,'” stated a representative of the agency. “He is currently only at the stage of reviewing the offer.”

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Dak Gang Jeong” is a comedy drama about a mysterious machine that turns people into fried chicken. ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo was also previously confirmed to be in talks for the drama, though he had not yet made a decision regarding his offer.
