During the interview, Kim Yuna talked about her turning points in life. She remarked, “I’ve been an athlete since I was seven years old in Korean reckoning. The period up to my retirement as an athlete certainly feels like one of the chapters. After entering my 30s, it feels like a new life is starting again in many ways.”
Kim Yuna also shared her thoughts regarding her personal relationships by saying, “It seems that I naturally maintain long-term relationships with the people I am close to from the beginning and the people who don’t treat me as if I am special.”
Kim Yuna plans to get married in October. The groom-to-be is vocalist Ko Woo Rim, a member of a crossover group FORESTELLA, who is five years younger than her. Kim Yuna and Ko Woo Rim met at the All That Skate Ice Show in 2018 for the first time, and after dating for three years, they will officially be tying the knot.
