BLACKPINK Sweeps iTunes Charts All Over The World With "Pink Venom"

BLACKPINK is dominating music charts across the globe with their latest single!

On August 19 at 1 p.m. KST, BLACKPINK made their highly-anticipated return with the new song “Pink Venom,” a pre-release single from their upcoming full-length album “BORN PINK.”

Immediately upon its release, the song topped multiple Korean realtime music charts, hitting No. 1 on Bugs, Vibe, and Genie—and it also soared to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries around the world. According to YG Entertainment, as of 8:50 a.m. KST on August 20, “Pink Venom” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 69 different regions.

The music video for “Pink Venom” also managed to surpass 70 million views in approximately 15 hours and 35 minutes, breaking BLACKPINK’s own record for the fastest music video by a female act ever to reach the milestone. (The previous record belonged to BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That,” which took 19 hours and 55 minutes to achieve the feat back in 2020.)
