"Alchemy Of Souls" And "It's Beautiful Now" Soar To Their Highest Ratings Yet
Three dramas hit new all-time highs last night!
On August 21, tvN’s “Alchemy of Souls” neared the double digits as it achieved its highest viewership ratings yet ahead of its final week. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the fantasy romance drama scored an average nationwide rating of 9.3 percent, marking a new personal record for the show.
“Alchemy of Souls” also remained first place in its time slot across all channels among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned a nationwide average of 4.4 percent.
KBS 2TV’s “It’s Beautiful Now” similarly achieved the highest viewership ratings of its run to date, climbing to an average nationwide rating of 28.8 percent as it remained the most-watched program to air on any channel on Sunday.
Finally, JTBC’s “The Good Detective 2” wrapped up the first half of its run on its own all-time high, rising to an average nationwide rating of 7.0 percent for the night.
