BTS's Jungkook And Charlie Puth's "Left And Right" Re-Enters Top 40 Of Billboard's Hot 100 + "Bad Decisions" Stays Strong In 2nd Week
Two months after its release, BTS’s Jungkook’s hit collab with Charlie Puth has climbed back up Billboard’s Hot 100!
On August 23 local time, Billboard revealed that Jungkook and Charlie Puth’s single “Left and Right” had re-entered the top 40 of the Hot 100 (its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States). In its eighth consecutive week on the chart, “Left and Right” rose to No. 40.
“Left and Right” also climbed back up several other Billboard charts this week: the song rose to No. 20 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, as well as No. 26 on both the Digital Song Sales chart and the Global 200. Additionally, the song held onto its spot at No. 16 on the Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States
Meanwhile, “Bad Decisions“—BTS’s Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s new collab with Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg—stayed strong at No. 57 in its second week on the Hot 100. (The song previously debuted at No. 10 last week.)
“Bad Decisions” also held steady at No. 2 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart (meaning that it was the second best-selling song of the week in the United States), No. 28 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, No. 29 on the Pop Airplay chart, and No. 30 on the Global 200 this week.
Outside of their collaborations, BTS’s anthology album “Proof” spent its 10th consecutive week in the top half of the Billboard 200, where it charted at No. 83 this week. “Proof” also maintained its position at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, in addition to staying strong at No. 45 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 74 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Congratulations to BTS!
