BTOB's Yook Sungjae Swaps Lives With Lee Jong Won In New Drama With Jung Chaeyeon And Yeonwoo

MBC’s upcoming drama “Golden Spoon” (literal translation) has unveiled a group poster of its four leads!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Golden Spoon” is a new drama about a student born into a poor family who uses a magical golden spoon to swap fates with a friend born into a wealthy family. BTOB’s Yook Sungjae will be starring as Lee Seung Chun, the student who hopes to turn his life around with the titular golden spoon.

DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon will be starring in the drama as Na Joo Hee, a chaebol heiress with a heart of gold who dreams of an ordinary life. Against her own wishes, her family has forced her into a loveless engagement with Hwang Tae Yong (played by Lee Jong Won)—the privileged friend whose life Lee Seung Chun covets.

In the newly released poster, each of the drama’s four leads has a golden crown on hand that offers insight into their character. Hwang Tae Yong wears his crown with a relaxed, natural air as he leans comfortably on his throne, while Lee Seung Chun eagerly places his gleaming crown on top of his head.

Meanwhile, in contrast to the two male students, Na Joo Hee holds her crown in her lap instead of wearing it, as if unwilling to put it on.

Finally, Oh Yeo Jin (Yeonwoo) has a mysterious relationship with her own crown, which she holds between her fingers as she stares down the camera in a striking red gown.
