TWICE's Jihyo Tests Positive For COVID-19 Ahead Of Group's Comeback

TWICE’s Jihyo has tested positive for COVID-19.

On August 24, JYP Entertainment shared that the idol was diagnosed with COVID-19 through an official statement that reads as follows:

This is JYP Entertainment.

We are sorry to inform you that TWICE member Jihyo has tested positive for COVID-19 through a rapid antigen test on August 24.

After using a self-testing kit on August 24 at 10:30 a.m., she underwent a rapid antigen test and was officially diagnosed with COVID-19. She is currently quarantined and recuperating in accordance with the guidelines of the health authorities.

We apologize for causing concern to our fans and all the parties concerned.

We will put the artist’s health first and do our best for her quick recovery.
