ENHYPEN, BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, ATEEZ, TWICE's Nayeon, ITZY, aespa, NewJeans, And Stray Kids Rank High On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has released its World Albums chart for the week ending on August 27!
ENHYPEN’s latest mini album “MANIFESTO : DAY 1” spent its second consecutive week at No. 1 on the World Albums chart, and it also became the group’s first album to spend three weeks in the top 50 of the Billboard 200.
BTS’s anthology album “Proof” held onto its spot at No. 2 in its 10th week on the World Albums chart, in addition to spending its 10th consecutive week in the top half of the Billboard 200. The group’s 2017 mini album “Love Yourself: Her” also re-entered the World Albums chart at No. 13 this week.
SEVENTEEN’s “SECTOR 17“—the repackaged version of their fourth studio album “Face the Sun“—climbed back up to No. 4 in its fourth week on the World Albums chart, with “Face the Sun” also charting separately at No. 9.
TXT’s “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” rose to No. 5 in its 15th week on the World Albums chart, and it also extended its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of 2022 on the Billboard 200.
ATEEZ’s “THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT” climbed back up to No. 6 in its third week on the World Albums chart, while TWICE’s Nayeon‘s “IM NAYEON” jumped to No. 7 in its eighth week.
ITZY’s “CHECKMATE” maintained its position at No. 8 in its fifth week on the chart, followed by aespa’s “Girls” at No. 10 (in its sixth week) and NewJeans’ “New Jeans” (in its second week).
Finally, Stray Kids’ “ODDINARY” re-entered the World Albums chart at No. 15, marking its 20th non-consecutive week on the chart.
