NewJeans' "Attention" Remains No. 1; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2022, August Week 4
NewJeans maintains No. 1 this week with their debut song “Attention,” widening its gap with the competitors. Congratulations to NewJeans!
The top three remain unchanged this week with Girls’ Generation’s “FOREVER 1” at No.2 and ITZY’s former chart-topping hit “SNEAKERS” at No. 3.
There is only one new song in the top 10 this week. Debuting at No. 8 is THE BOYZ’s “WHISPER,” the title track from their seventh mini album “BE AWARE.” “WHISPER” is a song with retro 808 bass and futuristic synth sounds that highlight THE BOYZ’s energetic nature. The lyrics capture the moment dopamine hits as listeners get captivated by an electrifying whisper.
