Ji Chang Wook And Sung Dong Il Share A Heartfelt Conversation In "If You Wish Upon Me"

KBS 2TV’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “if You Wish Upon Me” shared a preview of the upcoming episode!

“If You Wish Upon Me” is a KBS drama inspired by an actual organization in the Netherlands that fulfills the wishes of terminal cancer patients. Ji Chang Wook stars as Yoon Gyeo Re, a man who has been pushed to his limits by a difficult life full of struggles. However, when he winds up having to volunteer at a hospice, he finds his life changing in unexpected ways while helping to make the patients’ wishes come true.

Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung stars in the drama as Seo Yeon Joo, a tough and cheerful nurse at the hospice who is obsessed with exercise, while Sung Dong Il plays Kang Tae Shik, the volunteer chief of Team Genie.

Previously on “If You Wish Upon Me,” Yoon Gyeo Re grew sharply wary of Kang Tae Shik despite the older man’s generosity and kindness. His trust in Kang Tae Shik especially waned when he witnessed him receive money from a patient’s family and get involved in a fight with gangsters. With Yoon Gyeo Re’s last day in Team Genie approaching, Kang Tae Shik decided to reveal the truth in order to stop him from leaving.

The newly released stills capture the two men enjoying a bonfire in the parking lot of the hospice in the middle of the night. Kang Tae Shik gives Yoon Gyeo Re a warm smile as he holds the lamp badge, which is a symbol of Team Genie. On the other hand, Yoon Gyeo Re regards him with a flat expression, piquing curiosity about what he’s really thinking.

However, things take a drastic turn when Kang Tae Shik makes a confession that leaves Yoon Gyeo Re in pure shock. Yoon Gyeo Re covers his face as if what he has just heard has caused him great suffering. It will be intriguing to find out the content of their conversation and if it will really hold Yoon Gyeo Re back as Kang Tae Shik hopes it will.

The producers of “If You Wish Upon Me” teased, “Today’s episode will tell the reason Kang Tae Shik came to the hospice hospital and the story about Room 403 that is kept in wraps. Please look forward to finding out why Yoon Gyeo Re, who was always curt, will became so shaken.”
