Girls' Generation's "FOREVER 1" Rises To No. 1; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2022, September Week 1
After spending the last two weeks at No. 2, Girls’ Generations’ “FOREVER 1” rises to No. 1 this week. Congratulations to Girls’ Generation!
Debuting at No. 2 is IVE’s latest hit “After LIKE,” the title track from their third single album. “After LIKE” includes a sophisticated deep house rhythm and a classic but unique hook, and the lyrics express honest feelings of love. The song contains interpolations from the hit song “I Will Survive.”
Rounding out the top three is NewJeans’ “Attention,” dropping two spots to No. 3.
One more song newly entered the top 10 this week. Moving up 21 spots to No. 4 is BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom,” the pre-released single from their upcoming studio album “BORN PINK. With a strong beat and sounds from traditional Korean musical instruments, “Pink Venom” is a hip hop song that highlights BLACKPINK’s trademark fierce charisma.
