"The Law Cafe" Kicks Off With Strong Premiere Ratings
KBS2’s new drama “The Law Cafe” has made an impressive start!
According to Nielsen Korea, the September 5 premiere broadcast of “The Law Cafe” garnered an average nationwide rating of 7.1 percent. This is a jump from the record of 5.7 percent achieved by the premiere of its predecessor drama “Café Minamdang.”
Based on a hit web novel, “The Law Cafe” is a romantic comedy about Kim Jung Ho (Lee Seung Gi), a genius former prosecutor-turned-libertine landlord, and Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young), the eccentric lawyer that becomes his new tenant when she opens a “law cafe” in his building.
tvN’s “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” garnered an average nationwide rating of 4.323 percent, which is a small dip from the previous episode’s rating and personal best of 5.2 percent.
