Park Min Young talked about her upcoming tvN drama “Love in Contract”!

The new romantic comedy is about a service that provides fake wives for single people in need of partners to bring to social gatherings, such as school reunions and dinners for married couples.

Park Min Young will star as professional fake wife Choi Sang Eun, who finds herself caught between longtime client Jung Ji Ho (Go Kyung Pyo)—with whom she has a long-term exclusive contract for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—and newcomer Kang Hae Jin (Kim Jae Young), who wants to sign a contract with her for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Thursdays.

Park Min Young is known as the “goddess of romantic comedy,” and she impressed with her acting in various works, such as “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” and “Her Private Life.” This time, Park Min Young will transform into Choi Sang Eun, a woman with a unique job. The actress stated that she chose this project because she thought Choi Sang Eun was a refreshing character. She added, “I thought a professional fake wife might actually be a job. And I wanted to express the reason why Choi Sang Eun chose this job in a sincere way so that viewers could empathize with her.”

Choi Sang Eun is a perfectionist character who speaks not only five languages but has also mastered art and sports. Park Min Young does her best to bring this character to life by practicing various instruments and sports in her free time. She remarked that she practiced many things in intense ways and explained, “In the case of language, I was frustrated because I couldn’t speak like a native speaker, but I tried to film while having fun and enjoying it as much as I could.”

The actress delved into the differences between Choi Sang Eun and her previous roles. She commented, “First, she’s a self-employed person who doesn’t work at a company. Also, she’s not that young but rich and pretty. I think this itself is different from my previous characters. Unlike my other projects, you’ll see a Park Min Young who isn’t in an office look. I’m happy to show you the styles that I’ve been thinking about,” raising questions about what kind of fashion icon she’ll transform into this time.

Park Min Young also mentioned her chemistry with her co-stars Go Kyung Pyo and Kim Jae Young. Regarding Go Kyung Pyo, she commented, “Actor Go Kyung Pyo has great energy, and we have great chemistry, so he makes me laugh every day. I’m having fun filming with him.” Concerning Jae Young, she said, “Actor Kim Jae Young has his own humor, and it’s so funny that I think about it sometimes. I’m sure the chemistry [with each of them] will be a different style just like their diverse charms.”
