BLACKPINK Makes Girl Group History On Spotify As 'Pink Venom' Hits 100 Million Streams

BLACKPINK has set more than one new record on Spotify with their latest hit “Pink Venom“!

On September 5, YG Entertainment officially announced that BLACKPINK’s pre-release single “Pink Venom” had surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, making it their 24th song to do so.

“Pink Venom,” which took just 17 days to reach the milestone, is now the fastest song by any female K-pop artist to hit 100 million streams—as well as the fastest song by any girl group in Spotify history to achieve the feat.

Additionally, “Pink Venom” has become the fastest song released in 2022 by a K-pop artist of any gender to hit the 100 million mark on Spotify.

The previous record for fastest girl group song to surpass 100 million streams also belonged to BLACKPINK (for their hit song “How You Like That,” which took just 29 days to reach the milestone back in 2020).

Congratulations to BLACKPINK on their record-breaking achievement!
