Sung Hoon Confirmed To Star In New Action Noir Drama

Sung Hoon is  is returning to the small screen!

On September 7, his agency Stallion Entertainment announced, “Sung Hoon is confirmed to appear in the new drama ‘My Heart is Beating’ (literal title).” It will be written by Jung Won Jung and directed by Jo Dong Oh.

Based on a manhwa of the same name, “My Heart is Beating” depicts the bromance of rough men. Sung Hoon will take the role of Kang Woo Joo, the president of Taebong Construction who was the former troubleshooter for the gang of the Sanho faction. Kang Woo Joo has such excellent fighting skills and extraordinary intelligence that he is absolutely trusted by the boss.

Sung Hoon made his debut in 2011 through the drama “New Tales of Gisaeng” and appeared in various projects after including “Oh My Venus,” the first two seasons of “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce),” and “Woori the Virgin.” Sung Hoon is expected to make an unconventional change with his first challenge in an action noir drama.

“My Heart is Beating” is scheduled start filming in the second half of this year.
