DAY6's Sungjin Discharged From Military Service + Launches Personal Instagram Account
DAY6’s Sungjin has completed his military service!
According to JYP Entertainment, Sungjin was discharged on September 6 as the first DAY6 member to complete his mandatory service. Sungjin enlisted in March 2021 and served as an active duty soldier of the Republic of Korea Army.
Following his discharge, Sungjin took to his Twitter on September 7 to announce that he has opened a personal Instagram account:

For his first post, Sungjin shared a photo with the hashtag, “Start,” while fellow member Wonpil commented, “Wow….wow….finally….”

On the evening of September 7, which is DAY6’s seventh anniversary, Sungjin will be meeting up with fans at a special offline event in Seoul.
Meanwhile, the other members Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon appeared on a military radio program on September 7 to greet fans together for DAY6’s anniversary. Young K enlisted in KATUSA (Korean Augmentation Troops to the United States Army) in October 2021, Dowoon enlisted in the army as a member of the military band in January of this year, and Wonpil enlisted in the Republic of Korea Navy in March.
