Watch: ONEUS Performs Live Cover Of BTS's "Blood Sweat & Tears" On "Weekly Idol"

ONEUS surprised their fans with a special cover on “Weekly Idol”!

The group appeared as guests on the September 7 episode of the MBC every 1 variety show, where they performed their brand-new title track “Same Scent” and played various games together with the MCs.

For the program’s signature “Weekly Playlist” segment, ONEUS chose to perform a live rendition of BTS’s iconic 2016 hit “Blood Sweat & Tears,” in addition to snippets of their own songs “A Song Written Easily” and STUPID LOVE.”

Hwanwoong began by explaining, “We’ve prepared a surprise cover for our TO MOON [ONEUS’s fandom].” Seoho chimed in, “I don’t know if you remember this, but we once covered BTS’s ‘Butter.’ It was a dance cover on ‘Weekly Idol.’ And then recently, Keonhee and Hwanwoong covered [BTS’s] song ‘Friends,’ and TO MOON really liked it.”

Hwanwoong went on to describe “Blood Sweat & Tears” by commenting, “I think everyone’s probably tried dancing the choreography to this song at least once,” and his members agreed. Ravn then dramatically announced, “The song we’ve prepared is BTS’s ‘Blood Sweat & Tears.'”
