Watch: So Ju Yeon And Seo Ji Hoon Become Secret Friends In Teaser For Upcoming School Drama

“Seasons of Blossom” shared a heart-fluttering preview of So Ju Yeon and Seo Ji Hoon’s relationship!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, drama “Seasons of Blossom” tells the story of love and friendship of 18-year-old youths at Seoyeon High School. The omniverse-style story focuses on a different main character for each of the four seasons.

“Seasons of Blossom” will depict the butterfly effect that occurs when an incident from six years ago of a boy committing suicide and a girl being unable to stop him begins to affect the current teens living in the present. The story will also highlight the concerns and growth of young adults who cannot be honest and hide themselves.

Seo Ji Hoon plays Lee Ha Min, who appears cheerful on the outside but can be quite cynical, while So Ju Yeon portrays the timid but strong Han So Mang.

In the beginning of the newly released teaser, Lee Ha Min seems like the perfect boy with good looks and top grades. Han So Mang describes him as “someone who shines more than anyone and was loved by everyone.” He charms everyone with his dazzling smile, making one student wonder, “What can he not do?” One girl gives Lee Ha Min a gift, and he accepts it with a warm grin as he sweetly says, “Thank you. I’ll enjoy it.”

However, Lee Ha Min is not who everyone thinks he is as he hides in the art studio where Han So Mang is and shows his true colors. “Man, those punks are freaking annoying me,” he sighs in irritation, which she happens to overhear. The caption asks, “He’s actually two-faced?”

Lee Ha Min tosses the gift in disgust, and Han So Mang asks, “If you were going to throw those away, why on earth did you accept them?” He simply responds, “It’s part of social life.” She wonders, “Do your friends know you think this way?” and he quips, “I have no friends.”

The two characters begin a secret friendship inside the art studio. Lee Ha Min warns her, “Don’t act like you know me outside of here. It’s bothersome to get tangled up with each other. And people might find out we’re using this place.” They ignore each other in the hallways but share heart-fluttering moments in their secret spot.

The teaser ends with Lee Ha Min’s brother Lee Jae Min (Kim Min Kyu) asking Han So Mang, who is now a teacher, “Was hyung just a friend to you?” She thinks for a tender moment before replying, “No. He was my first love.”
