Lee Moo Saeng Clarifies He's Not The Actor Who Was Arrested For Drug Use
Lee Moo Saeng‘s agency has spoken up to clarify that he isn’t the actor who was arrested for drug use on September 10.
On September 10, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station announced that they had arrested an actor in his forties (hereafter referred to as “A”) for a drug abuse violation at around 2 p.m. KST. After receiving a report that a man was “running around as if high on drugs,” the police had “A” undergo a urine drug test, and his results came back positive.
Later that night, Lee Moo Saeng’s agency Alien Company released an official statement to firmly deny the rumors that he was the actor in question.
The agency’s full statement is as follows:
Hello.
This is Alien Company.
Regarding the male actor in his forties who was arrested on charges of drug abuse, our agency has confirmed that there are currently groundless falsehoods being spread through online communities and social media due to suspicions that the actor is Lee Moo Saeng.
We are clearly announcing that actor Lee Moo Saeng has no relation whatsoever to the case in question, and if groundless falsehoods continue to be spread, we will respond with strong legal action.
Our agency will continue to do our utmost to protect our actors in the future as well.
