PENTAGON's Yuto Tests Positive For COVID-19 Ahead Of Japan Concerts
PENTAGON’s Yuto has been diagnosed with COVID-19 ahead of the group’s upcoming concerts in Japan.
On September 13, Cube Entertainment officially announced that Yuto had tested positive for the virus after developing mild flu-like symptoms the day before. According to the agency, none of the other PENTAGON members are exhibiting such symptoms at present.
In accordance with the guidelines of local health authorities in Japan, Yuto has currently halted all activities, while his bandmates will be continuing their Japanese activities as scheduled without him.
Cube Entertainment’s full statement is as follows:
Hello.
This is Cube Entertainment.PENTAGON member Yuto was diagnosed with COVID-19 yesterday (September 12).
Yesterday (September 12), Yuto exhibited mild flu-like symptoms, so he used a self-test kit as a precautionary measure, and he tested positive. Afterwards, he underwent PCR testing, and he was ultimately diagnosed [with COVID-19] yesterday (September 12).
Yuto previously received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and he has currently halted all scheduled activities and is taking all necessary measures in accordance with the guidelines of local Japanese health authorities. The other PENTAGON members aside from [Yuto] do not currently have any particular symptoms.
[PENTAGON] will proceed with their future schedule with the previously announced members apart from Yuto and without any [other] changes. Further details will be announced separately by the event organizers.
Our agency will continue to adhere to the guidelines of health authorities and do our utmost for the health and safety of our artists.

PENTAGON is currently scheduled to perform for three nights at Tokyo Dome City Hall from September 15 to 17.
