TWICE, BTS, ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN, TXT, NewJeans, ITZY, And BLACKPINK Claim Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has released its World Albums chart for the week ending on September 17!
TWICE’s new mini album “BETWEEN 1&2” spent its second consecutive week at No. 1, in addition to becoming the group’s first album ever to spend two weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
Meanwhile, TWICE’s Nayeon‘s solo debut mini album “IM NAYEON” spent its 11th consecutive week on the World Albums chart at No. 13, extending its own record as the longest-charting album by any female K-pop soloist in history.
BTS’s anthology album “Proof” held onto its spot at No. 2 in its 13th week on the chart, in addition to staying strong on the Billboard 200.
ENHYPEN’s “MANIFESTO : DAY 1” similarly maintained its position at No. 3 on the World Albums chart, and it also became the group’s first album ever to spend six weeks on the Billboard 200 this week.
SEVENTEEN’s “SECTOR 17“—the repackaged version of their fourth studio album “Face the Sun“—remained No. 5 in its seventh week on the World Albums chart, while “Face the Sun” charted separately at No. 11 in its 15th week.
TXT’s “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” held steady at No. 6 in its 18th consecutive week on the chart, followed by NewJeans’ debut EP “New Jeans” at No. 12 (in its fifth week) and ITZY’s “CHECKMATE” at No. 14 (in its eighth week).
Finally, BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” re-entered the World Albums chart at No. 15, marking its 97th non-consecutive week on the chart.
