Choi Siwon And Lee Da Hee Are Conscious Of Each Other While Pretending Not To Be In New Poster For "Love Is For Suckers"

The main poster for ENA’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Love is for Suckers” has been released!

“Love is for Suckers” tells the story of a “realistic survival romance” between Goo Yeo Reum and Park Jae Hoon, who have been best friends for 20 years. The pair begins to experience romantic feelings for each other after unexpectedly meeting as a producing director (PD) and cast member of a reality dating show.

Lee Da Hee stars as Goo Yeo Reum, who has been a variety show PD for the past 10 years and is desperate for both work and love. Super Junior’s Choi Siwon portrays Park Jae Hoon, a plastic surgeon who is considered unemployed because of his irregular pay and who has lost interest in both work and love.

In the poster, Goo Yeo Reum and Park Jae Hoon are sitting side by side on a sofa while having drinks and snacks. Their comfortable outfits and relaxed postures indicate their longtime friendship which has been many years in the making, but there is strange tension lingering between the two in the enclosed space at home.

Park Jae Hoon, who seems indifferent to Goo Yeo Reum, puts one arm behind Goo Yeo Reum’s shoulder, whereas Goo Yeo Reum is caught subtly glancing at Park Jae Hoon while eating popcorn, raising anticipation for the drama.

The production team remarked, “‘Love is for Suckers’ is a novel drama that depicts the concerns about work and love that people of similar ages have in a pleasant and entertaining way. Please show us a lot of interest.”

“Love is for Suckers” premieres on October 5 at 9 p.m. KST, and it will be available on Viki with subtitles.
