TWICE Becomes 1st Female K-Pop Act To Top Billboard's World Albums Chart For 3 Weeks With More Than One Album

TWICE’s latest mini album is still going strong on the Billboard charts!

Earlier this month, TWICE’s newest mini album “BETWEEN 1&2” made a historic debut at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, making TWICE the first female K-pop artist ever to chart three albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200—as well as the first to land two albums in the top 3.

TWICE has now achieved yet another impressive feat on the U.S. charts: they have become the only female K-pop act in history to spend three weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Albums chart with more than one album.

For the week ending on September 24, “BETWEEN 1&2” spent its third consecutive week at No. 1 on the World Albums chart, making it TWICE’s second album to top the chart for three weeks. (Their first was “Formula of Love: O+T=<3,” which spent three weeks at No. 1 last year.)

“BETWEEN 1&2” also stayed strong on several other Billboard charts this week. In addition to ranking No. 47 in its third week on the Billboard 200, the mini album held steady at No. 2 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, No. 5 on the Top Album Sales chart, and No. 22 on the Tastemaker Albums chart.

Meanwhile, TWICE’s latest title track “Talk that Talk” came in at No. 12 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, No. 24 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and No. 40 on the Global 200 this week.

Finally, TWICE charted at No. 33 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking their 15th overall week on the chart (which they previously topped for the first time earlier this month).

Congratulations to TWICE on another historic achievement!
