"One Dollar Lawyer" And "The Golden Spoon" Kick Off Ratings Battle With Strong Premieres
Two dramas got off to promising starts last night!
On September 23, SBS’s “One Dollar Lawyer” premiered at the top of its time slot. According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of the new drama starring Namgoong Min and Kim Ji Eun scored an average nationwide rating of 8.1 percent, making it not only the most-watched program in its time slot but the most-watched Friday-Saturday drama of the night.
“One Dollar Lawyer” also took first place in its time slot among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned an average rating of 3.0 percent.
Meanwhile, MBC’s new drama “The Golden Spoon,” which stars BTOB‘s Yook Sungjae and DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon—and which airs in the same time slot as “One Dollar Lawyer”—premiered to an average nationwide rating of 5.1 percent.
Finally, tvN’s “Blind” rose slightly to an average nationwide rating of 2.5 percent for its third episode.
