Lee Sang Yi And Bae Da Bin Confirmed For Drama Kwon Sang Woo Is In Talks For
Bae Da Bin and Lee Sang Yi will be starring in the upcoming drama “Han River” (literal title).
On September 26, Sports Seoul reported that Bae Da Bin will be starring in “Han River,” while YTN Star reported that Lee Sang Yi will also be joining the cast. In response to the reports, a representative from Lee Sang Yi’s agency PLKGOODFRIENDS stated, “Lee Sang Yi is confirmed to star in the drama ‘Han River.'” A source from Bae Da Bin’s agency SM C&C similarly stated, “Bae Da Bin will be joining the drama ‘Han River.'”
“Han River” is a drama that deals with the story of police officers who take care of the various incidents that occur at the Han River. The drama will be helmed by director Kim Sang Chul and air via an OTT (over-the-top) streaming platform.
Bae Da Bin is confirmed to star as Ichon Station’s police corporal Do Na Hee. She is a figure who continues to express her feelings without giving up to Mangwon Station’s police sergeant Han Doo Jin. After making her entertainment industry debut in 2013, Bae Da Bin starred in various dramas including “My ID is Gangnam Beauty,” “Do You Like Brahms?,” and most-recently the KBS2 weekend drama “It’s Beautiful Now.”
Lee Sang Yi made his debut through the 2014 musical “Grease,” and he has impressed with various projects including MSG Wannabe. Recently, he captivated audiences in “Once Again,” “Youth of May,” and “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.”
Earlier in July, Kwon Sang Woo was revealed to be in talks to star as Han Doo Jin. Kim Hee Won and Shin Hyun Seung were also reported to be a part of the cast. Stay tuned for more updates!
