Claudia Kim, Wi Ha Joon, And More Join Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee's Upcoming Drama 'Gyeongseong Creature'

“Gyeongseong Creature” has revealed its lineup of supporting cast members!

Set in the dark times of Spring 1945, “Gyeongseong Creature” is a thriller about two young adults who face off against a creature and fight for survival. It will be written by Kang Eun Kyung of the “Dr. Romantic” series and directed by Jung Dong Yoon of “Stove League.”

It was confirmed in January 2022 that Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee will be leading the drama, and filming has officially started. Park Seo Joon is set to play Jang Tae Sang, the most wealthy man in Gyeongseong and the owner of the pawnshop Golden Jade House who has naturally keen insight and knows how to get by in the world. His sociable personality also makes him a well-known figure through Bukchon. Han So Hee will take on the role of Yoon Chae Ok, who searches for missing people. Since she was young, she learned how to get by in life with her father as they journeyed through Manchuria and Shanghai. Having survived through terrible situations, Yoon Chae Ok is skilled at working with guns, knives, and all sorts of machinery.

On September 28, it was announced that other talented actors have also joined Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee as supporting cast members. First of all, actress Claudia Kim, who is continuing her global stride through the film “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and the Netflix series “Marco Polo,” will take on the role of Maeda, the mistress of the powerful family that has control over the Gyeongseong area. Maeda, who has an unwavering poker face, gets entangled in a case of serial disappearances, creating tension in the story.

Actress Kim Hae Sook, who received much love for her great acting skills in dramas including “Inspector Koo” and the “Hospital Playlist” series, will play Nawol Daek, the butler of Golden Jade House, and showcase her presence as a strong supporter of Jang Tae Sang.

Jo Han Chul, who showcased his ability to take on various characters in the dramas “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” and “Vincenzo,” adds more weight to the storyline by transforming into Yoon Joong Won, Yoon Chae Ok’s father who is digging deeper into the case involving the missing people to find his wife who disappeared 10 years ago.

Wi Ha Joon, who impressed global viewers through “Squid Game,” will take on the role of Gwon Jun Taek, an independent soldier and Jang Tae Sang’s best friend. Gwon Jun Taek joins Jang Tae Sang on a dangerous journey to save his missing colleague.

“Gyeongseong Creature” is scheduled to premiere in 2023 via Netflix. Stay tuned for more updates!
