Based on Rin Mikimoto’s manga “Today’s Kira-kun,” high school outcast Ninon Okamura (Marie Iitoyo) is a bullied girl who finds an unlikely friendship in popular boy Yuiji Kira (Taishi Nakagawa). When she discovers that he only has a year to live, the two form an unforgettable bond that they never expected.
“Today’s Kira-kun” is a sweet movie with heart. You’ll want to watch it over and over again to fully appreciate the meaning behind the scenes Ninon Okamura (Marie Iitoyo) and Yuiji Kira (Taishi Nakagawa) share. He protects her from the bullies, and she promises to stay by his side until the end. If you love romances with a sad element, this one is for you!

2. “Make a Bow and Kiss”
Finding a successor for her kyudo club is at the very top of senior An Kishimoto’s (Elaiza Ikeda) list. Her high school is in desperate need of a new club president and Youta Mikami (Masaki Nakao) possess the right talent to lead. However, Youta Mikami isn’t passionate about kyudo but dating An Kishimoto instead.
Yakko Kaga’s manga “Make a Bow and Kiss” was the inspiration for this film, so many fans were probably elated that it was finally being adapted. Because of the romance and sports in the plot, fans of both genres will enjoy watching this one. Masaki Nakao’s acting is so impressive that you truly believe his love for his leading lady. Plus the on-screen chemistry between the two is intense!
3. “On Your Wedding Day”
It is love at first sight for Hwang Woo Yeon (Kim Young Kwang) when he meets Hwan Seung Hee (Park Bo Young) in high school, but now she is marrying someone else. When he receives her wedding invitation, he realizes that she is the one that got away, After a decade of friendship, Hwang Woo Yeon is determined to win Hwan Seung Hee back before it’s too late.
“On Your Wedding Day” was a hit domestically by topping the box office for two straight weeks when it premiered. Thanks to the fans’ devotion to the film, it was announced that a “On Your Wedding Day” webtoon would be in the works. The film does an amazing job showing a fantasy love story with very realistic characters. Watching the film, you realize that there is a little bit of Hwang Woo Yeon and Hwan Seung Hee in everyone.

4. “Replay”
Romance threatens the future of this rookie band. A few students start a new adventure in music by forming a band before graduation, but when lead singer Yoo Ha Young (Mi Yeon), keyboard player Gong Chan Young (Kim Min Chul), and guitarist Lee Ji Hoon (Hwi Young) get caught in a love triangle, the future becomes unclear.
Puppy love is the main focus of this movie. The main characters are experiencing first love, and it influences their career choices and friendships. It’s a sweet uncomplicated story that gives all the butterflies. You’ll be encouraged to start fantasizing about your first love or one you could have in the future.

5. “Temptation of Wolves”
Lee Chung Ah, Jo Han Sun, and Kang Dong Won star as a trio of high school students falling in love in the city. Country girl Jung Han Kyung (Lee Chung Ah) moves to Seoul after the death of her father. When she arrives in her new school, Ban Hae Won (Jo Han Sun) and Jung Tae Sung (Kang Dong Won) are instantly attracted to her. A love triangle begins between an average girl and two popular boys.
This classic movie helped launch the career of today’s biggest stars! It’s wonderful to witness Lee Chung Ah, Jo Han Sun, and Kang Dong Won in their early roles. You can see just how much they have grown in their careers. Due to high ticket sales, “Temptation of Wolves” even ranked in the top 10 movies for the year it released. This is a must see for classic film fans!
