TWICE's "BETWEEN 1&2" Becomes 1st K-Pop Girl Group Album Of 2022 To Chart For 5 Weeks On Billboard 200
TWICE continues to extend their own 2022 record on the Billboard 200!
Last month, TWICE’s latest mini album “BETWEEN 1&2” made a historic debut at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, making TWICE the first female K-pop artist ever to chart three different albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
On October 4 local time, Billboard revealed that “BETWEEN 1&2” had successfully remained in the top half of the Billboard 200 for a fifth consecutive week. For the week ending on October 8, the mini album stayed strong at No. 99, making it the first 2022 album by a female K-pop group to spend five weeks on the chart.
(The only other female K-pop artist to chart a 2022 album for five weeks on the Billboard 200 so far this year is TWICE’s Nayeon, who spent consecutive weeks on the chart this summer with her solo debut mini album “IM NAYEON.”)
TWICE also remained a force to be reckoned with on multiple other Billboard charts this week. “BETWEEN 1&2” held steady at No. 3 on the World Albums chart, No. 5 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 8 on the Top Album Sales chart this week, in addition to re-entering the Tastemaker Albums chart at No. 23.
Additionally, the group’s latest title track “Talk that Talk” ranked No. 38 in its fifth week on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 64 on the Global 200.
Finally, TWICE charted at No. 54 on this week’s Artist 100, marking their 17th non-consecutive week on the chart.
Congratulations to TWICE!
