Lee Da Hee And Choi Siwon Are Blurring The Line Between Friendship and Love In "Love Is For Suckers"

New stills of Lee Da Hee and Choi Siwon have been revealed!

“Love is for Suckers” tells the story of a “realistic survival romance” between Goo Yeo Reum (Lee Da Hee) and Park Jae Hoon (Super Junior’s Choi Siwon), who have been best friends for 20 years. The pair begins to experience romantic feelings for each other after unexpectedly meeting as a producing director (PD) and cast member of a reality dating show.

In the stills, Goo Yeo Reum and Park Jae Hoon walk down the alley while sharing an ice cream under the street lights late at night. Looking at the way Park Jae Hoon eats the ice cream, Goo Yeo Reum gets startled at first, but she soon continues the conversation calmly. Park Jae Hoon, who was trying to entertain Goo Yeo Reum with his playful facial expression and funny manner of speaking, stares at Goo Yeo Reum with a serious face.

Viewers are curious to find out what kind of conversation the two have on the way home late at night and if there will be meaningful progress in their relationship after Park Jae Hoon makes his confession to Goo Yeo Reum half-seriously and half-jokingly.

The production team remarked, “After the broadcast of the premiere episode, we were happy that there were many reactions that said Goo Yeo Reum and Park Jae Hoon’s chemistry and [the actors’] acting were entertaining and refreshing. Please look forward to the upcoming broadcast to find out if an unexpected romance will sprout between the two who have been in the safe ‘friend zone’ for the past 20 years.”

“Love is for Suckers” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 p.m. KST and is available on Viki.
