Update: Joo Won, Lee Joo Woo, Jo Han Chul, Kim Jae Won, And Choi Hwa Jung Confirmed To Star In New Drama

More actors are confirmed to join Joo Won’s upcoming tvN drama!
Following the confirmation of Joo Won’s casting, tvN announced that actors Lee Joo Woo, Kim Jae Won, Jo Han Chul, and Choi Hwa Jung will also be starring in “Stealer: Seven Joseon Coins” (literal title).
Lee Joo Woo will take on the role of Choi Min Woo, an elite police officer who gets assigned to the cultural heritage team of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. The team is known to be the place where all the problematic police officers are gathered.
Jo Han Chul will play Jang Tae In, who is known to have been the competent leader of the Violent Crime Section’s Drug Squad and the founder of Team Karma. Jang Tae In is a person who starts a secret project to recover cultural assets as he realizes the value of cultural assets through a series of events.
Kim Jae Won will showcase various charms as Shin Chang Hoon, a former detective from Violence Section. Shin Chang Hoon often troubles himself with his sharp tongue and short temper, but he has a stronger sense of duty for Team Karma than anyone else.
Choi Hwa Jung will play Lee Chun Ja, a member of Team Karma who has unparalleled hacking skills. During her school days, she was scouted by the government due to a hacking programs she developed for fun.
The casting news of the great actors with their colorful characters further raises anticipation for the drama. “Stealer: Seven Joseon Coins” will premiere in the first half of 2023. Stay tuned!

Joo Won is returning to the small screen as a civil servant!
tvN’s new drama “Stealer: Seven Joseon Coins” (literal title) is a caper comic action drama in which a mysterious cultural asset thief Skunk and an unofficial cultural asset recovery team Karma collaborate to fight against those who cannot be judged by the law.
Joo Won will play the role of Hwang Dae Myung, a civil servant of the Special Investigation Division of the Cultural Heritage Administration. Hwang Dae Myung is an extraordinary character who cares a lot about the number of annual leaves he has and takes naps during working hours. However, his life becomes even more extraordinary when he is suspected of being in league with the thief Skunk for some reason. As Hwang Dae Myung becomes a member of Karma, anticipation is high for the changes he will face from being a civil servant who simply collects his monthly paychecks to a member of the unofficial cultural asset recovery team that is recruited to catch the Skunk.
Joo Won showcased his broad acting spectrum by starring in various projects such as “Carter,” “Alice,” “My Sassy Girl,” “The Gang Doctor,” “Good Doctor,” “7th Grade Civil Servant,” and “Bridal Mask.” Ahead of the first filming of “Stealer: Seven Joseon Coins,” Joo Won remarked, “It is a very meaningful story even though it is fictional. I was charmed by how the story unfolds in a comical way without getting too dark. I am personally really looking forward to how I will portray this character. We will always do our best and have fun while filming, so please show a lot of interest.”
